doing what i hear

.. be doers of the word, not only hearers, deceiving yourselves; because if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man looking at his face in a mirror - he looks at himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what he looks like. But the one who looks intently into the perfect law of freedom and perseveres in it, not being a forgetful hearer but one who does what it says - this person will be blessed in the doing.
